Our Review
A Masterful Conclusion
Denis Villeneuve delivers a stunning conclusion to his Dune trilogy that rivals the greatest sci-fi epics ever committed to film. Dune: Part Three expands the scope of the story dramatically while maintaining the intimate character work that made the previous installments so compelling.
Timothee Chalamet gives a career-defining performance as Paul Atreides, now fully embracing the terrifying power of his prescience while grappling with the moral weight of the jihad waged in his name. The film does not shy away from the darker themes of Frank Herbert's novel, presenting Paul as both messiah and monster.
Visual Spectacle
Cinematographer Greig Fraser once again captures Arrakis and new worlds with breathtaking beauty. The space battles are unlike anything seen before in cinema, combining practical effects with cutting-edge visual effects in a way that feels tangible and real. Hans Zimmer's score is transcendent, blending new compositions with evolved themes from the previous films.
