Junior Backend Developer

<h2>About the Role</h2><p>StartupHub is a fast-growing SaaS platform helping entrepreneurs launch their businesses. We are looking for a Junior Backend Developer to join our friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of experience who wants to grow rapidly in a supportive environment.</p><p>You will work on our Python/Django backend, building APIs that power our web and mobile applications. Our senior engineers are committed to mentoring and you will have regular 1-on-1 sessions to support your professional growth.</p><h2>What You Will Do</h2><ul><li>Build and maintain REST APIs using Django REST Framework</li><li>Write database migrations and optimize queries</li><li>Implement business logic for new product features</li><li>Write tests and participate in code reviews</li><li>Learn about system design and scalability patterns</li></ul>

<ul><li>1-2 years of backend development experience</li><li>Proficiency in Python and basic understanding of Django</li><li>Understanding of SQL and relational databases</li><li>Familiarity with Git version control</li><li>Strong desire to learn and grow as an engineer</li><li>Computer Science degree or equivalent bootcamp/self-taught experience</li></ul>
